Sigfox deploys its network worldwide through distribution agreements with local partners (Sigfox Operator – SO), in charge of deploying and maintaining the network, and marketing and selling connectivity thanks to customer, channels and ecosystem development.  The relationship with each SO is managed by a Country Manager. Development of connectivity is mainly triggered by customers or channels of Sigfox Operators through their ability to implement IoT Solutions.

Job Description

In this period of rapid expansion and growth, the Group Accounting & Consolidation Manager needs to be a motivated self-starter who can operate at senior management level to make sure the finance is delivering value at all times.

The Group Accounting & Consolidation Manager is in charge of :

  • Group & French entities accounting supervision
  • Improvement the quality of the Group’s consolidated financial reporting
  • Management and optimization of Tax purposes
  • Management of intercompany agreement
  • Coordination of issuance of the consolidated financial statements under IFRS
  • Treasury management

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Taking ownership of the production of high quality financial accounts and reports for the Group and subsidiary companies.
  • Ensuring the company complies with all regulatory requirements regarding financial reports. Taking ownership of the Group’s multi-currency consolidation process (including extensive joint venture accounting) for both monthly internal management and statutory purposes.
  • Working with the Group Financial Controller to prepare quality consolidated reports for the senior management team.
  • Review of monthly Balance sheet reconciliations, including multi-currency intercompany reconciliations.
  • Oversight of the accounting for the Group’s key headquarters
  • Administer, develop and improve the accuracy of the Consolidation Tool alongside training users on best practise use of the system.
  • Developing and implementing best practice processes and systems across the Group.
  • Technical accounting support to operating businesses
  • Oversight of the tax compliance of the group – both corporate and VAT – including preparation of company corporate tax packs and VAT returns (with support from professional advisors).
  • Key point of contact for auditors, taking day to day responsibility for the smooth running of the audit process.
  • Support on a variety of ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES: 

  • Experienced in international groups and in accounting or auditing firms (minimum 10 years)
  • High level of skills in accounting, IFRS, accounting processes
  • Fluent in English
  • Pragmatic and rigorous
  • SAP knowledge and consolidation software
