Sierra-Cedar is seeking motivated and experienced PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant with Talent Management and Candidate Gateway experience. If you are passionate about the technology, the clients, and all the challenges that go with being a consultant, you will want to be a part of our team. In the role of PeopleSoft Functional HCM Consultant you are responsible for providing PeopleSoft functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle. You will work on all project phases including fit/gap, configuration, and testing. You will assist clients in fully integrating the PeopleSoft system into their current business environments and provide input on best practices and advise clients on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems. You will also configure the PeopleSoft system to meet each client’s unique business requirements. This position requires 100% travel with projects executed on-site at Sierra-Cedar client locations nationwide with a typical week of four 10-hour days.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Provide PeopleSoft functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle

Work on all project phases including fit/gap, configuration, and testing

Assist clients in fully integrating the PeopleSoft system into their current business environments and provide input on best practices

Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems

Configure the PeopleSoft system to meet each client's unique business requirements

Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner

Report progress to clients and project managers

Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft solutions

Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology

 


REQUIRED SKILLS


Minimum of 6-8 years PeopleSoft experience with a strong focus on Core HCM.

Experience with Public Sector required

PeopleSoft 9.2 experience

Upgrade and implementation experience, with a minimum of 2-3 full life cycle implementations

Ability to work on all project phases

Knowledge of e-Performance and TAM and Candidate Gateway required
