Job Description

The ideal candidate must be able to fulfil the mission with existing customers and new customers and:

  • Understand client expectations and be proactive in offering solutions
  • Analyze data of various kinds (qualitative, quantitative, observations, etc.) to bring out insights and a deeper knowledge of users and their needs
  • Contribute to the creation of personas and journeys to communicate user needs, motivations, and pain points, as well as the opportunities in improving the user experience
  • Collaborate with clients to obtain the information needed to design interfaces that correspond to their business needs and respect their technical constraints
  • Translate solution concepts into prototypes that can be tested with users
  • Be responsible for the design of user interfaces for applications or websites, define or create design systems, collaborate with other members of a creative team if necessary ( ux designers, copy writers, graphic artists), and work with a team of developers to ensure that the implemented product matches the approved designs
  • Design, prepare and contribute to workshops and collaborative co-creation sessions. This includes the creation of support materials for virtual or face-to-face workshops, and the design of deliverables (prototypes and other artifacts) coming out of the workshops
  • Conceive and design tailor-made tools, including physical or virtual games
  • Manage the deadlines, the budget and the quality of the deliverables for which you are responsible. Ensure compliance with the terms and scope of the client engagement (allocated time, deliverables and deadlines)
  • Participate in the continuous innovation process of Sia Partners, support the development new offers elaborated in working groups

Qualifications

We are looking for a profile capable of understanding the (often complex) problems of large companies. He/she/they must be creative and a significant contributor to the solutions we propose to create or improve, in an innovative way, strategies, products, services or internal processes.

We are looking for someone curious, resourceful, and enthusiastic, who is ready to work with our clients and multidisciplinary experts from our other business units to produce desirable and effective solutions that meet the needs and constraints of the project.

We are fully aware that UI and UX are not the same discipline, therefore, we are not looking for advanced expertise in both disciplines. We are mainly looking for an interface designer who masters the techniques of the trade while being able to demonstrate interest, understanding and use of the basic methods of empathy and human-centered design.

Specifically, the ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in interface design, more senior profiles welcome
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field
  • A first successful experience in consulting
  • Experience on large-scale projects, complex systems, or in regulated domains such as finance, health, energy or public services
  • Ability to demonstrate the consideration of inputs concerning users in your creative choices and support  developers/coders in the implementation of their designs
  • Experience in creating prototypes, if possible, at several stages of a project
  • Experience in creating and managing design systems that demonstrate a sense of organization and modularity
  • Fluency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Knowledge and experience in human-centered design methodologies and design thinking, including user research. You have created or contributed to personas, user journeys and user tests
  • Knowledge of Miro, Mural or other online collaborative tools desirable
  • Proficiency in verbal and written Arabic (preferred)
