Job Description

Our values have led us to two decades of global expansion. We are hiring an Accountant in the Finance and Accounting Department for Sia Partners branch Riyadh. The Accountant will be within the Billing and Accounts Receivable team, and will also be trained to support other accounting functions as needed including accounts payable, general accounting, tax filing. This is a growing team and responsibilities may change as the needs of the business evolve.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data gathering
  • Receiving and storing invoices
  • Perform basic bookkeeping functions (A/P, A/R)
  • Monitor accounts and provide analysis of customers and/ vendors, giving insight on accounts receivable, payment approval status, non-payroll related, etc.
  • Manage global reconciliations
  • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
  • Set up new customers and projects
  • Maintain data in Time and Billing System (Alibeez) and accounting system (Odoo)
  • Organize and review timesheets, contracts, and create draft invoices for clients’ managers
  • Follow up with client managers on overdue invoices
  • Support with audits as needed

Other administrative tasks as assigned

  • Assist on VAT Return submission
  • Dealing with Zakat website
  • Tender bond issuance and cancellation
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Perform Month-end closing duties such as Bank Reconciliations, Payroll reconciliations
  • Analytical and networked thinking skills, reliable and precise way of working 

Qualifications

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS

  • 3 years’ experience in accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree with major in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Excel skills, including knowledge of v-lookups, and pivot tables
  • Experience with ODOO is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Must be organized, a quick thinker, and have strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently, multi-task and to prioritize work
  • Working under pressure to meet the deadlines
