Job Description
Sia Partners is growing its team to build high-quality AR/VR (XR) tools and experiences for our enterprise. This team will be focused on solving some of the most challenging and cutting-edge technology problems for our high-profile customers across domains like Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Aerospace, and Logistics. As our team grows, we are looking for skilled developers with experience in Unity and/or Unreal who can contribute to our team and help our customers convert their dreams into virtual and augmented reality.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design and implement high-quality XR features
- Implementing and maintaining system design elements, tools, workflows and making sure interactive experiences look, feel and play perfectly
- Collaborating with members of other departments to provide reliable and efficient solutions and training for the team
- Understand the big picture of each procedure, how all connected features work together, identifying weak spots and missing links, and propose improvements to systems.
Qualifications
- Professional Unity 3D development experience with HoloLens – Mixed Reality
- Deep experience (3+yrs) writing production-quality in C# code
- Must be able to provide a portfolio and/or showreel of work demonstrating your skills
- Professional Production experience such as shipping enterprise applications, 3d games, 3D animated features and/or VFX
- Experience collaborating with the 3D art team and implementing 3D art and game assets like animations, meshes, shaders, and materials
- Professional production development experience with HoloLens 2
- Experience developing on Windows Mixed Reality Platform, Dynamics 365 including Guides, Remote Assist
- Great understanding of immersive concepts such as stereoscopy, holography, scene setup/staging, depth management, and cinematography for AR/VR
- Professional experience taking storyboards, wireframes, and concept art all the way to highly polished interactive experiences
- Exceptional 3D math and C# skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for creating new, innovative, and ground-breaking user experiences
- Excellent problem-solving/debugging skills and an aptitude for learning new technologies and disciplines
- Able to write efficient, clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Good sense of visual / hyper-realistic look and feel
- Bachelor’s degree required in business or related field
- Eligible to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with medical 2D/3D imaging technologies such as CT, Tomography, X-Ray, Ultrasound, 3D scans, segmentation, registration
- Experience integration with online medical document control systems and/or medical device software
- Professional production development experience with HoloLens 2
- Proficiency in Unity Interface/SDK, component-based architecture, C#/JavaScript scripting, multithreading, multiplayer, GUI (UI/UX), prefabs, animation, lighting, texturing, physics, state machine, plugin development, 3rd party SDKs, asset store, cross-platform integration
