Job Description

We are hiring a full-time product marketing expert who is energized by a culture of mutual support, innovation, and analytical rigor. This Product Marketing Consultant will drive interest, one-time purchases and subscriptions for our clients’ products.

The Product Marketing Consultant will own and drive sizeable revenue for our clients with defined growth targets via disciplined acquisition/model testing, with an eye towards continuously improving customer acquisition growth rates. The ability to think critically, be agile, and communicate effectively with product managers, engineers, and executive stakeholders will be critical to the success of this role. Candidates must be capable of exceptional client delivery, have the desire to lead, and have passion for the growth of our consulting firm.

Responsibilities

·Provide product marketing leadership for a leading tech company in the education space

·Research, recommend and implement a new go-to-market roadmap, including a customer lifecycle management model

·Understand how changes in peer group impact opportunities, and build program that ensure client is apace of trends

·Be an expert in voice-of-customer insights for your product area. Leverage these insights to influence our product roadmap in partnership with Product Management, Engineering, and UX Design teams

·Lead cross-functional launch teams that include members of Product, Design, Sales Marketing Communications (Marcomm), PR, Operations, Business Development, Finance, Legal, and many other stakeholders

·Create agile workflow to be able to implement test and learn programs quickly and with minimal budget impact  

·Nimbly manage the creation and deployment of multiple campaigns and tactics, working with in-house team and 3rd party vendors

·Experiment with and optimize channel models to find the best fit for each client offering, with the goal of maximizing ROI for client   

·Measure performance across multiple channels throughout the sales/marketing funnel

·Craft strategies to drive customer adoption, success/satisfaction, retention, and win back in partnership with your Marcomm counterparts. Craft marketing content to help achieve these goals.
 

·Highlight technical pitfalls and become the driving force behind building a reliable foundation of product marketing tech and process

·Bring clarity to KPIs, performance drivers, and competitive trends and effectively communicate these to client leadership

·Lead by example to build a culture of accountability and rigor and prove business impact across a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders

·Engender a sense of urgency, creativity, and curiosity for to outperform the competition and drive stakeholders in analytics and engineering to deliver the required data and tools to do our job effectively

Qualifications

·Relevant digital marketing and strategy experience, with 3+ years of active, hands-on product marketing experience

·Strong cross-functional management skills

·Effective sales and negotiation skills

·Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with previous experience structuring and performing complex analysis in the digital marketing space to drive efficient grown

·Powerful communicator with ability to engage and influence both teammates and senior management

·Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies

·Knowledge of/interest in education tech space a big plus

Minimum Requirements 

·Bachelor’s degree required

·Enterprise-grade experience working on tech product marketing

·Motivated by an entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable with ambiguity

·Confident, self-aware team player open to receiving and providing effective feedback

·Able to influence others without having to invoke direct authority

·Exhibits track-record of building meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships

·Strong communication skills and strong work ethic
