Job Description

We are hiring a full-time affiliate marketing expert who is energized by a culture of mutual support, innovation, and analytical rigor. The Affiliate Marketing Consultant will drive affiliate partnerships, model optimization and implementation, improving outcomes and ROI for our client’s affiliate program.

The Affiliate Marketing Consultant will own and drive sizable revenue for our client with defined growth targets via disciplined affiliate partner/model testing, with an eye towards continuously improving performance. The ability to think critically, be agile, and communicate effectively will be critical to the success of this role. Candidates must be capable of exceptional client delivery, have the desire to lead, and have passion for the growth of our consulting firm.

Responsibilities

·Provide affiliate channel leadership for a top tech company in the web security space

·Both nimbly manage and measure performance across affiliate portfolio

·Research, recommend and implement new affiliate programs and relationships

·Experiment with and optimize affiliate models to find the best fit for each affiliate partner, with the goal of maximizing ROI for client   

·Evolve affiliate marketing portfolio to become more sophisticated, targeted and performance-driven so client can take advantage of new opportunities and meet shifts in the industry landscape

·Actively manage relationships with all existing and potentially new affiliate networks, partners and technologies

·Work through automation, tagging, and data integrity issues with cross functional stakeholders in Engineering and Analytics as they arise. Highlight technical pitfalls and become the driving force behind building a reliable foundation of marketing tech and process

·Understand how changes in competition and the dynamic event landscape impact affiliate performance, and build scalable automated solutions to stay ahead of the trend

·Work alongside an innovation pod to continuously generate ideas to improve performance

·Bring clarity to KPIs, performance drivers, and competitive trends and effectively communicate these to client leadership

·Lead by example to build a culture of accountability and rigor and prove business impact across a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders

·Engender a sense of urgency, creativity, and curiosity for to outperform the competition in affiliate marketing and drive stakeholders in analytics and engineering to deliver the required data and tools to do our job effectively

Qualifications

·Relevant digital marketing and strategy experience, with 3+ years of active, hands-on affiliate marketing experience

·In-depth knowledge of U.S. and international affiliate markets

·Strong partnership management skills

·Effective sales and negotiation skills

·Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with previous experience structuring and performing complex analysis in the digital marketing space to drive efficient grown

·Powerful communicator with ability to engage and influence both teammates and senior management

·Deep understanding of affiliate marketing models and tracking tools

·Knowledge of/interest in web/IT/digital security space a big plus

Minimum Requirements

·Bachelor’s degree required

·Enterprise-grade experience and desire to work on technology projects

·Motivated by an entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable with ambiguity

·Confident, self-aware team player open to receiving and providing effective feedback

·Able to influence others without having to invoke direct authority

·Exhibits track-record of building meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships

·Strong communication skills
