Job Description

  • Participating in projects with leading banks and Financial Services clients, helping our clients on process re-engineering and operational strategy engagements.
  • Be an active team member and provide support to managers and key stakeholders for the successful execution of client projects.
  • Working closely with our other offices and leverage our global network to take part to cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge
  • Sharing consulting best practices with the team.
  • Prepare material to support business development initiatives

Specific areas of expertise:

Ideally, you would have experience in projects in one or more of these areas:

  • Process Re-engineering: Possess a lean six sigma experience in the banking industry.  Ideally to have the green belt / black belt qualification. The role will assist the Master black belt lead to execute the process re-engineering.
  • Participating in projects with leading financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on the end-to-end client onboarding process to eliminate manual intervention and streamlining processes.
  • Provide ownership and partner with the client's team on improving existing operations process flows and lead process reengineering campaigns
  • Drive standards related to the Issue, Defect and Incident tracking process, in line with global standards
  • Identify opportunities for Digitization and Automation including RPA opportunities
  • Drive Process re-engineering, standardization and feasibility analysis
  • Design and drive the implementation of new operating model for Operations, and associated processes and procedures

Qualifications

Required skills:

  • 4-6 years of experience in the financial or consulting industry, change management, process re-engineering within Operations.
  • At least a Bachelor or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering or Science.
  • Certified lean six sigma green or black belt holder 
  • Track record of implementing operational metrics and dashboards to support strategic decision making
  • Strong familiarity with Process Management, process flow diagram and governance, specifically within Operations
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and client face-off.
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership and responsibility.
  • Project Management skills for Senior Consultants
  • Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience in the management consulting industry is preferred.
  • Ideally able to converse in Cantonese / Mandarin.
