Job Description

Overview of position: Sia Partners is searching for Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools specialists to deliver consulting services to our insurance clients. You will be part of our risk practice and will be in charge of supporting clients who are looking for support with the design, configuration or implementation of GRC Tools. Successful candidates are those who can help our clients to solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

The range of projects you would be able to deliver related to GRC:

•    Design and implement GRC Tools such as RSA Archer, Nasdaq BWise, IBM OpenPages.
•    Collaborate across risk, compliance, IT, SOX or Audit teams to build an effective GRC program.
•    Optimize use of GRC tools including strong understanding of design of process, risk and control taxonomies, risk and control assessment approaches, issues management or company structures.
•    Perform a consultative analysis for developing and presenting GRC solutions, assisting with prioritization of workload to strategic and tactical goals.
•    Coach and train clients’ GRC analysts.
•    Assess technology systems supporting GRC programs.
•    Write business requirements and functional specification documentation.
•    Looking for individuals who are open to either full-time or contracting positions.
 

Travel The position is based in Sia Partners’ New York office with work at both our office and client offices.  Expected travel 40-50% on average.

Qualifications

Personal performance attributes and credentials include:
•    Bachelor's degree required.
•    A strong technical knowledge of some GRC tools, as RSA Archer, Nasdas BWise and IBM OpenPages, knowledge of insurance a plus.
•    A clear understanding of business lines and support functions processes.
•    A background in operational risk management, IT risk, audit and compliance.
•    Experience building functional, operational or technical requirements. 
•    Strong IT controls design and engineering skills.
•    Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks and provide guidance to others.
•    An impressive level of ambition and drive – you will play a key role in further developing Sia Partners’ capabilities in the market place.
•    Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
•    High attention to detail and accuracy.
•    Ability to work effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
•    Assumes full responsibility for tasks and project work.
•    Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; active listening skills.
•    Experience utilizing data analysis and visualization tools such as PowerPivot, R, or Tableau is a plus.
