As a Senior Consultant at Sia Partners, you will assume the following responsibilities (but not limited to):
Deliver project work with limited oversight across a range of clients, based either at Sia Partners’ offices or at a client site

• Supervise and support Consultants and Business Analysts in their delivery roles
• Produce proposals and other client materials for the Energy & Utilities team
• Independently develop the reputation of Sia Partners in the Energy & Utilities UK market (publication of your own articles, infographics, videos, networking…)
• Track the latest developments and activity across the Energy sector and share this knowledge with the Energy & Utilities team
• Interact with other sector & service teams within Sia Partners (Innovation, Data Science, Transformation & Change, Banking) to share information and develop cross-sector offerings
• Facilitate your own learning through self-study and receive training from more senior members of the organisation

As part of our team, you will be involved in a range of projects with clients across the energy & utilities space, covering topics such as:

• Business strategy definition & implementation: business plan creation and validation, strategy design and implementation, benchmarking 
• Regulatory transformation: regulation impact analysis, stakeholder & customer engagement, audits and assessments, organisational gap analysis
• Business Improvement: business process mapping & re-engineering, performance management design & implementation, benchmarking & analysis
• Investor Assistance: regulatory analysis, financial modelling, performance assessment, due diligence 
• Project & programme management: management of business and IS projects with both internal stakeholders and third parties
   

• 2-4 years of management consulting or other relevant experience in the Energy industry
• Strong academic background (Engineering, Economics or Business preferred)
• Strong, demonstrable interest in the Energy sector
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• The ability to adapt rapidly, and work on a range of different business areas within a challenging environment and tight deadlines

The ideal candidate:

• Experience working for a well-known consultancy
• Previous clients that include regulated Utilities, Suppliers, Oil and Gas companies or Infrastructure Funds
• Project experience covering strategy design, regulatory analysis, operational improvement and/or project management within a relevant environment
• A demonstrable understanding of the energy value chain in the UK
• Examples of utilising and visualising quantitative analysis to generate actionable insight
• Examples of presenting deliverables to senior management
