This individual will work at our Financial Services client in Toronto, Canada and be the OFAC Sanctions Specialist and will be responsible for advising the Compliance team on OFAC Sanctions rules and regulations as well as;

• Processing payments that are triggered by the banks internal alert system for sanctions-related hits; and,
• Analyzing sanctions-related exposure on a client level and determining whether the client's exposure would present a material risk to the bank

The US Sanctions OFAC Team is responsible for making these decisions.

• 2 + years of experience in BSA/AML, OFAC Sanctions and related regulations working at large financial institutions or regulator (i.e., OCC, SEC). 
• Establish new monitoring rules, reviewed the output and wrote policies and procedures. 
• An individual that has worked with foreign and domestic financial institutions as well as U.S. and foreign regulatory authorities.
• Conducted major independent reviews of banks’ AML systems.
•  Located in Toronto, Canada (No relocation/travel expenses paid for)
