Sia Partners US specializes in Financial Services and is renowned for its client service offerings and performance in a variety of disciplines (Operational Strategy, PMO, Business Analysis, IT Strategy & Architecture, change Management) encompassing various areas of focus throughout the industry (Capital Markets, Asset Management, Risk Management, and Asset & Liabilities Management).

In order to keep pace with the growth of the Americas offices, we are currently seeking an Office Administrator to join our team. This position reports to the Human Resources/Office Manager in our New York office and will also work closely with the Managing Director.

Job Description

Candidates must have strong inter-personal communication skills, be highly motivated in a fast pace environment, and be detail oriented. The company is oriented around employee growth and development and need coachable employees. A strong understanding of general business operations will be essential for transition minimal disruption to the flow of business.

Key bookkeeping responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, billing, payments, employee expenses and managing day to day financial operations and other special projects as assigned.

The office administration aspect of the role will include, but are not limited to, Answering and directing calls, greeting visitors, purchasing office supplies, prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and various other administrative tasks as they arise.

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  •   3-5 years office management/bookkeeping experience preferably with a consulting firm but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks is required
  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proactive, superior organization skills with the ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks.
  • Solid knowledge of office operations
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
