Job Description
Manager - Compliance & Regulations, Singapore
As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading consulting engagements and delivering high-quality project work across our Banking & Insurance clients. You will manage consulting teams, build trusted client relationships and contribute to the growth of Sia Partners’ Risk & Regulatory Compliance practice in Singapore.
Project Responsibilities
- Lead consulting engagements across Banking & Financial Services clients, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Manage project teams and coordinate consultants to deliver quality outcomes within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Personally contribute to client engagements through subject matter expertise and hands-on delivery where required.
- Manage client stakeholders and provide practical recommendations to address business and regulatory challenges.
- Support engagement planning, resource allocation, project governance and risk management.
- Ensure project deliverables meet Sia Partners’ quality standards and methodologies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in one or more of the above areas and have experience delivering MAS-related engagements while maintaining familiarity with both local and international regulatory frameworks.
Consulting & Transformation
- Deliver regulatory transformation programmes from assessment through implementation.
- Analyse regulatory impacts and translate requirements into practical operating models, governance frameworks and business processes.
- Support clients in strengthening compliance, risk management and operational effectiveness.
- Manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve client processes through innovation and digital transformation.
Commercial Development
- Support the growth of the Risk & Regulatory Compliance practice in Singapore by identifying new business opportunities within existing and prospective clients.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and contribute to long-term account development.
- Support proposal development, RFP responses and client presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Sia Partners’ global network to deliver cross-border opportunities and leverage global expertise.
- Contribute to market development initiatives and support the practice’s commercial objectives.
Thought Leadership
- Develop a strong understanding of the Singapore and Asia Banking & Financial Services regulatory landscape.
- Monitor regulatory developments, emerging risks and market trends to identify opportunities for clients.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials including articles, whitepapers, case studies and client insights.
- Represent Sia Partners at industry events, seminars and networking activities where appropriate.
Team Leadership
- Lead and coach consultants on project delivery and professional development.
- Provide regular performance feedback and support career development.
- Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within project teams.
- Promote Sia Partners’ values and consulting excellence across engagements.
Qualifications
- Degree from a reputable university in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or a related discipline.
- Consulting experience in mandatory
- 6 to 9 years of relevant experience within a consulting firm, financial institution or professional services environment, with a focus on Risk & Regulatory Compliance.
- Strong knowledge of the Banking & Financial Services industry, particularly Risk, Compliance and Regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience leading consulting engagements and managing project teams.
- Experience delivering MAS-related regulatory programmes and familiarity with global regulatory requirements.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and able to work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and identify commercial opportunities.
- Currently based in Singapore.
