Job Description
As a Transformation & Change Management Consultant at Sia Netherlands, you will be a trusted advisor to (senior) client stakeholders designing and delivering end-to-end change programmes that turn strategic ambition into measurable organisational impact. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, people, and technology, guiding organisations through digital transformations, operating model redesigns, mergers & acquisitions, and regulatory-driven change.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Consulting Delivery
- Lead and manage complex transformation and change management projects from scoping through execution and benefits realisation.
- Develop change strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks tailored to client context and culture.
- Design and facilitate stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, and readiness evaluations.
- Build and coach client-side change agent networks to embed sustainable capability.
- Manage project workstreams, timelines, budgets, and quality deliverables to agreed standards.
Client & Business Development
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with clients.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and support proposal development for new business.
- Represent Sia at industry events, thought-leadership forums, and client workshops.
Internal Contribution
- Mentor and develop junior consultants, providing day-to-day guidance and structured feedback.
- Contribute to internal knowledge assets, methodologies, and practice-area toolkits.
- Actively participate in recruiting, onboarding, and capability-building initiatives.
Qualifications
REQUIRED PROFILE
Experience & Education
- 5–10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a management-consulting or in-house transformation role.
- Demonstrated track record delivering change management programmes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience working in financial services (insurance, banking, pension, payments, asset management)
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Econometrics, Organisational Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in change management (e.g. Prosci / ADKAR, APMG Change Management) is a strong asset.
Technical & Methodological Skills
- Knowledge of change management frameworks (Kotter, ADKAR, McKinsey 7-S, Lewin, etc.).
- Proficiency in project and programme management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMI, SAFe / Agile).
- Ability to design and execute organisational design, communications, training, and adoption strategies.
- Comfortable working on digital transformation programmes (ERP, CRM, cloud, AI adoption).
- Strong data literacy able to use data to build the case for change and track adoption KPIs.
Interpersonal & Leadership Qualities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills able to simplify complexity for executive audiences.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust quickly at all organisational levels.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to grow the practice and develop new client relationships.
- You like to work in a team but you are capable to excel on your own as well and are not afraid to share your thoughts.
- You have a strong interest in data and AI-related topics, the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas, and you’re excited about helping our clients seize the opportunities they offer.
- Fluency in English is required; Dutch language skills are a significant advantage.
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands (EU citizens or valid work authorisation).
