Job Description

Our Western Canada Team is growing and looking for exceptional consulting professionals to join us. We provide unique opportunities to engage with high-profile clients and drive transformative initiatives across diverse industries, including energy, utilities, public sector, technology, and other complex business environments.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Management Consultant – Organizational Change Management (OCM) to support clients through business, technology, and AI-enabled transformation. The ideal candidate is a strong management consultant with a proven track record of leading and implementing successful change management initiatives within complex organizations. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to influence, advise, and drive change at all levels of an organization.

The successful candidate will bring a broad understanding of business and technology solutions, industry best practices, and hands-on experience supporting transformation initiatives. They will also demonstrate an understanding of emerging technologies, including Generative AI and agentic AI, and how these capabilities can impact people, processes, roles, operating models, and ways of working.

Must be local to Edmonton and the surrounding area – and willing to work in a hybrid environment with a combo of remote and on-client site.

  • While our offices are located in Alberta, you may be asked to work East Coast hours should our client have that requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clients to understand business objectives, challenges, transformation goals, and organizational impacts.
  • Apply strong management consulting skills, including structured problem-solving, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, executive communication, facilitation, business case awareness, and the ability to translate complex and ambiguous challenges into practical recommendations.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies and plans, including impact assessments, change readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, communications, training, adoption, and sustainment activities.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders to support alignment, engagement, and buy-in across all levels of the organization.
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, interviews, and meetings to gather insights, manage feedback, and support decision-making.
  • Lead the implementation of change initiatives, monitor progress, identify risks or resistance, and adjust plans to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Develop training programs, materials, and knowledge-transfer resources to help employees build the skills needed to adopt new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
  • Establish metrics to measure change effectiveness, conduct post-implementation reviews, and identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing client support to sustain change and reinforce adoption.
  • Contribute to internal practice development by sharing leading practices, enhancing change management tools and templates, and supporting the growth of organizational change capabilities across the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field or combination of education and experience
  • Master’s degree or MBA an asset
  • Prosci Change Management Certification or other recognized certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in organizational change management, preferably within a consulting, utilities, IT, Oil & Gas, or in a HR environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (understanding the roles and responsibilities of various team members). Any formal SCRUM or AGILE certifications will be considered an asset
  • Experience working with diverse industries and understanding of different business models.
