Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager, Data & AI, to support our North American growth ambitions. 

As part of an international and fast-growing global community of 350+ data scientists supporting our 8 Centers-of-Excellence, you will be an important catalyst in the development and promotion of our offers and solutions across the continent. Your responsibilities will include:   

  • Business Development & Sales 
    • Driving and supporting business development and sales activities across our markets and industry sectors 
    • Cultivating existing client relationships in partnership with Sia account and market leaders and delegates 
    • Help lead client “first calls” and support Data & AI campaign execution across industry sectors 
  • Thought Leadership 
    • Authoring Data & AI thought leadership pieces for digital distribution  
    • Supporting industry conference events as a panelist 
    • Conducting AI client workshops and demonstrations, actively showcasing Sia’s solutions 
  • Client Delivery & Project Oversight: 
    • Lead teams and assist clients to capitalize on inherent opportunities by identifying and solving their most critical business needs through Data and AI initiatives 
    • For project delivery, act as the Data & AI project lead for key projects  
    • Work with others to develop pragmatic solutions and provide a lasting impact by transferring knowledge and building long-term capability for clients 
    • Support end-user adoption of Data and AI solutions 
  • Technical Expertise 
    • Strategic & Architectural Expertise: 
      • Data and AI strategy and roadmap development 
      • GenAI and agentic architectures, methods and solutions 
    • Data Foundation & Governance: 
      • Design and implement frameworks and tools to manage data governance 
      • Design data management and data modeling solutions 
      • Big Data’ and set-up of advanced analytics cloud infrastructure 
    • Advanced Analytics & Implementation: 
      • Machine learning, AI and statistics: developing predictive models of decision making, supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, quantitative diagnosis 
      • Delivery of data analytics and visualization solutions 
  • Team Development & Practice Building 
    • Recruit new talents and develop your team to reach the expectations of a rapidly growing Business Line 
    • Build and lead your team on missions but also in commercial endeavors 
    • Provide technical leadership to a team of data science, data engineers and data strategists 
    • Provide industry guidance, strategies and implementation of best practices 
    • Build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment and mentor team members

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in data science or a related field, with a proven track record of leading successful projects in complex organizations. 
  • A positive attitude, creativity, drive and the ability to think resourcefully 
  • Effective relationship management skills with an ability to build and extend professional networks and influence stakeholders 
  • A natural and intentional collaboration style along with strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, judgement and numerical skills 
  • Prior experience as an AI sales solution architect 
  • Local networks and experience driving and leading business development, client proposals and RFP’s 
  • Data and AI client delivery experience within an AI product and/or services company 
  • Prior experience in professional services is preferred (e.g., Big 4, Accenture, a dynamic Data & AI company and/or a hyperscaler such as AWS, OpenAI, Azure or GCP) 
  • An ability to work independently in a matrixed organization 
  • Advanced studies / post-graduate qualifications are advantageous

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Salary range is between $160,000 - $220,000 + Annual Discretionary Bonus

Office Workplace Guidelines  

Sia is committed to providing a flexible workplace environment that supports client, business, and market needs. Consultants located in our primary market office locations—New York City, Charlotte, Seattle, and San Francisco—are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance and attend the office at least three days per week. For Consultants outside of our primary markets, we can offer more flexible in-person requirements in accordance with your location.
