Role 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finishing Engineer with a background in multiplex or project management consultancy (PMC).  

Responsibilities 

• Oversee and manage the finishing works for a multiplex project, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to project specifications. 

• Coordinate with the project team, including vendors, architects, and contractors, to ensure timely completion of finishing tasks. 

• Supervise and guide the workforce in carrying out interior fit-out, false ceiling, flooring, carpentry, painting, and other finishing activities. 

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for finishing works, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery. 

• Collaborate with the billing department to review and verify project invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies. 

• Manage vendor relationships, including procurement and negotiation of materials and services required for finishing works. 

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards and promote a safe working environment for all workers on the site. 

• Provide technical expertise and support in areas such as electrical systems, CCTV, fire fighting, and protection and detection.

• Civil Diploma or B.Tech degree in Engineering. 

• 2-5 years of experience as a Finishing Engineer in a multiplex or PMC background. 

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D for creating and modifying design drawings. 

• Strong knowledge and experience in interior fit-out, false ceiling, flooring, carpentry, painting, project planning, billing, HVAC, and vendor and architect management. 

• Familiarity with commercial and residential projects, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, vendors, and stakeholders. 

• Proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and handle project-related challenges. 

This role requires travel as per project requirement.
