Job Description

Role Overview:

As the Manager - HR, you will closely collaborate with the leadership team to ensure the seamless execution of HR initiatives, recruitment, policies and engagement programs. You will be a key contributor in ideating, implementing, and managing various HR processes to create a positive and vibrant work culture.

Responsibilities:

Policy Development and Ideation:

  • Formulate innovative HR policies and programs that align with the company's growth and values.
  • Strategise policies to enhance employee experience and satisfaction.

Performance Management:

  • Manage the performance appraisal process - preparation of performance metrics, feedback collection, and performance discussions.
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure the timely completion of goal-setting and performance reviews.

Engagement Initiatives:

  • Conceptualize and execute creative engagement initiatives, events, and activities that foster team spirit, innovation, and employee well-being.
  • Actively monitor employee morale and engagement levels, proposing and implementing solutions as needed.
  • Formulate employee recognition programs to celebrate achievements and contributions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with various departments to understand their HR needs and provide guidance on employee matters.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align HR initiatives with the overall business strategy.

Recruitment:

  • Proactively source and create talent pools of potential candidates through online channels.
  • Map and tie-up with relevant colleges and conduct campus recruitments.
  • Plan assessment strategy for open roles and set interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
  • Ideate & execute various employer branding initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department.

HR Operations:

  • Innovate HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company values and legal requirements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end employee life cycle processes, including onboarding, benefits administration and offboarding.
  • Manage employee records and HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

 

  • A bachelor’s or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 4-6 years of HR experience, preferably within a consumer internet, e-commerce, product-oriented, or startup environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and deliver results within stringent deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and adept problem-solving abilities.
