Responsibilities:

* Providing high quality translation and/or interpretation of various Bengali Movies/Web Series/Short Stories/Music from Bengali to English and vice versa.
* Ensuring consistency of terminology and demonstrating highest standards of professional behaviour.
* Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalent for terminology and words used.
* Researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation.
* Proofreading and editing final translated versions.
* Using the internet and email as research tools throughout the translation process
* Retaining and developing knowledge on specialist areas of translation.

• Knowledge in use of Captioning / Subtitling software is preferable.

• Responsible for achieving quality and quantity of work in terms of typing and timing; playback; verifications, terms, credits, graphics; official scripts and official website research; proofreading and spell checks.

Applicants must possess extensive knowledge of grammar and excellent writing
skills in Bengali & English.

• Prior experience with or understanding of closed captioning production process is also a plus. 
  
  Strong Grammar and Punctuation Skills

• Strong transcription skill .

  Experience in translating various Bengali Movies/shows /series/Content , is preferable.

   

• Must be able to produce quantity of work with quality for original captioning and subtitling .

• Yrs of Exp – 1to 3years relevant exp .
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proactive, positive, detail oriented and success driven.
