ShopUp works with a mission of enabling SMEs in Bangladesh with technology. We help online sellers & neighborhood retailers to build, manage and grow their businesses by providing easy access to B2B sourcing, last-mile logistics, digital credit, and business management solutions. 

Roles/Responsibilities

• Own a quality of a module

• Increase confidence in the quality of the product for product/business teams.

• Understand the customer pain points and find UI/UX issues in a timely manner

• Write test case automation using Selenium/Appium framework.

• Create appropriate automation libraries to reduce the code repetition and to keep the code clean

• Run load test using the automated test case to ensure the scalability of the module

• Create and Manage the test environment with near to production simulated data without any data/security breach.

• Do manual testing on projects as needed which includes sanity checking the projects before release. 

Jobs Skills required

• Strong experience in maintaining test automation framework in Selenium, Appium, Java, TestNG and etc.

• Hands-on skills in bash, git, adb, charles proxy and Android dev tools.

• Store hands-on experience of integrating testcase on CI/CD environment using tools such Jenkins, CircleCI

• Understanding of how to work on any project management tools

• Ability to work in a team structure and deliver projects on time

• Very strong analytical and problem solving skills in super changing environment

• Ability to think from customer perspective and unearth real issues which would be affecting the customers.

What to expect from our recruiting process

1. Coding exercise: You will be taking an online interview/coding test based on your language preference.
2. Technical interviews: we’ll discuss areas relevant to you ranging from frontend/backend development to networks, security, and development methods. We’re trying to get a clear overview of your skills and where you could learn more.
3. Meet your future team to learn what they are working with. After that the final interview with our founders.
