Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurially-driven Asia-Pacific Operations Manager to build and lead the implementation capabilities of Shippeo’s solution for the APAC region.

Under the direct responsibility of the VP Operations, you will be in charge of leading our first customer projects, conceiving and executing a strategy to penetrate the carrier ecosystem and quickly grow our network, and more generally take initiatives to build our regional presence. After a successful landing of our first customer projects, you will naturally endorse growing responsibilities and take the lead on all Asia-Pacific operations while hiring and managing a team of skilled professionals.

Job description

Your main missions during the first months will include:

  • Manage the implementation of Shippeo for customers in the region, including:
    • Lead all PMO activities: build SOW, project planning, run status meetings and steering committees, etc.
    • Coordinate the internal teams involved to ensure a project delivery at the highest standard and reach highest customer satisfaction
    • Handle escalations and stakeholder management
  • Lead post-implementation account management activities for business units of customers in the region, ensuring satisfaction, retention, identification of upsell opportunities within our existing customers
  • Build and execute a strategy to rapidly grow our network of connected softwares and carriers, and adapt Shippeo’s carriers onboarding processes and engagement programs to match APAC market specificities
  • Build and scale the local office: bridge with European HQ to coordinate local operations, implement and adapt HQ processes to match local specificities, hire talents and engage the team on a daily basis

Additionally you will act as an evangelist of Shippeo in the area: support marketing and sales initiatives, explore and develop partnerships to build brand awareness and reputation, realize opportunistic outbound reach to potential customers, lead discovery meetings and gather market intelligence to help build go-to-market strategy

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with significant experience in software implementation, transport industry and/or consulting services
  • An extensive knowledge about the supply chain software industry and multimodal transport operations in your region is mandatory
  • Full professional proficiency in English
