Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneur-minded Business Development Director  to join our rapidly growing sales team and to further develop Shippeo's Growth in Italy.

We are aiming for someone passionate when it comes to navigating within large enterprises while building trust with all stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a leader's mindset, should not be afraid to take risks while being focused on getting things done by being creative and thinking outside the box.

You will be responsible for developing new business in Italy, build and execute account plans, drive revenue, and contribute to the sales targets in your region.

Your main missions include:

  • Working together with our SDR team to grow your pipeline
  • Leading complex sales cycles within Fortune 500 companies
  • Consistently evangelizing our vision through product demonstrations, marketing events, and other initiatives you will initiate
  • Forecasting and manage your sales activities and pipeline to meet revenue targets
  • Coordinating with the Marketing and Pre-Sales teams on your accounts
  • Helping improve and implement the commercial strategies with our European team according to our company objectives

Qualifications

You are our next Shippian if:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in B2B software sales (ideally SaaS)
  • You have a demonstrated track record selling software or solutions to Fortune 500 companies
  • You have experience closing 6 and 7-figure deals
  • You are a go-getter and you are comfortable developing C-level relationships
  • You had exposure to rapid growth, fast-growing companies and you already built things from scratch
  • You are a native Italian speaker with fluency in English
