Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious entrepreneur to join us as Business Development Director to drive Shippeo's success in the Benelux.

We are seeking a business professional, passionate about navigating within large enterprises and partnerships while representing the company and building trusted relationships with all stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be an entrepreneurial leader, not afraid to take risks. They’ll stay focused on getting things done by leveraging their creativity and networking skills and by thinking outside the box.

You will be responsible for developing new business in the Benelux, identify, build and execute account plans, drive revenue growth, and contribute to the sales targets in your region.

Your main missions include:

  • Help define and execute Shippeo’s ambitious growth plan for the region.

  • Expand a strong network of liaisons and partners. 

  • Expand the team as the region grows.

  • Work together with our SDR & Solution Consultants team to grow your pipeline.

  • Lead complex sales cycles within Fortune 500 companies.

  • Consistently evangelize our vision through product demonstrations, marketing events, and other initiatives you will initiate while representing the company at events and meetings.

  • Forecast and manage your sales activities and pipeline to meet revenue targets

  • Coordinate with the Marketing and Pre-Sales teams on your accounts

  • Help improve and implement the commercial strategies with our European team according to our company objectives

 

Qualifications

Preferred experience:

  • You have 10+ years of experience in B2B software sales or experience in launching new business activities in the Benelux.

  • You have a demonstrated track record selling software or solutions to Fortune 500 companies.

  • You have experience closing six and seven-figure deals.

  • You are a go-getter and you are comfortable developing C-level relationships.

  • You are an overachiever and you always go the last mile to close your deals.

  • You’re a team player and you like to be challenged by your team and your customers.

  • You have been instrumental in creating rapid growth, been part of fast-growing companies, and/or you have already built things from scratch.

  • You are proactive and creative on new ideas and have a great sense of initiative.

  • Native proficiency in Dutch, fluency in English
