We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern (Events Focus) to join our marketing team in Berlin/Barcelona/Faro. In this role, you will support the planning and coordination of trade shows, conferences, and partner events. You’ll gain valuable experience working cross-functionally with teams across marketing, sales, and design, and contribute to delivering high-impact events that align with Shiji’s global brand standards.
Job Description
- Assist in coordinating logistics for trade shows, conferences, and partner events.
- Support event registration processes, attendee communication, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure event materials align with brand guidelines.
- Help with vendor coordination — including venues, hotels, catering, shipping, and suppliers.
- Maintain event documentation, checklists, and timelines.
- Assist in preparing event presentations, printed materials, and post-event reports.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a university program in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or Communications.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital tools (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, Excel, or project management tools).
- Eagerness to learn and contribute within an international team.
- Availability to support events in different time zones when necessary.
