We are looking for an experienced Product Owner (Fiscal/Legal) to be the expert within the EMEA Market of our product Shiji Enterprise Platform.

Job Description

  • Research country requirements in order to operate our software legally in a certain city, region or country.
  • Document research findings in manner where product management and leadership can identify scope and impact of need.
  • React and respond accordingly to priority and deadlines required new customers go lives in new cities, regions, or countries.
  • Define and solution needs across enterprise software to cover development required touch points.
  • Ensure fiscal integration team (SFE) is aligned with Shiji enterprise for coordinated development effort for on time delivery.
  • Project manage on time delivery of features across enterprise software modules (Finance, Reservations, Kiosk, E-reg card, etc) in an efficient manner.
  • Translate business requirements into technical stories for development execution.
  • Maintain and plan backlog of stories for future sprint planning to ensure appropriate workload for development team.
  • Educate and train customer facing teams on how to implement new features in order to allow a hotel to operate legally in country.
  • Attend meetings, offer suggestions, ideas, and be open to learning new skills and maintain high level of domain knowledge for given area.

Key objectives:

  • To act as a specialist for hotel business process definition, functional system design and requirements, use case preparation for a cloud based global hospitality solution.
  • To provide key and effective development liaison in all verbal, written and systems-oriented communication in a global organisation.
  • To lead theoretical and conceptual presentations, discussions and dialogue; and to provide business and practical context that enables both decision and design conclusions.
  • To communicate with global representatives on all product requirements, development and customer driven needs.
  • To provide deep business research and solution guidance as required by the project development phases.
  • To assist in localisation, translation and other educational matters related to market readiness and the overall go-to-market strategy.


  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar position in product management.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and understanding of the business.
  • Analytical thinking is required to assess alternate paths and to suggest alternate paths/solutions to reach the business goals.
  • Good technical and development management skills.
  • Effective communicator and team player.
