Job Description

·         Middle level implementation professional to handle and complete Shiji PMS implementation projects in hotel environment at customer site or remotely.

·         To understand the customer’s need and operation workflow; then to install, setup and configure the solution at the customer site.

·         Install and configure Interfaces from the PMS to third party vendors

·         Ensure the solution meets specifications and functions per customer specific operational work flow.

·         Ensure multiple users, and the service model concept meets the customer operational workflow by training the staff in the best and most practical use of the software 

·         Report accurate project status and act proactively to achieve the project goal

·         Report the additional functional request from customers to our internal Product and Development team.

·         Answer operational and application questions and consult the customer.

·         After "go-live", provide technical support to the customer when necessary.

·         Work coordination with various internal technical teams, such as Product Team / Support Team / Development Team, etc.

·         Assist Product Management to test new releases and new functions and provide pre-sales support to the regional sales team

Qualifications

Preferred Qualification: 

·         Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, hospitality or business field

·         Hospitality Business background or working record in a similar role will be advantage

·         Experience with hotel property management systems & passion for the Hospitality industry as our customers' passion to serve their guests

·         At least 5 years of overall experience in hospitality industry in front office/ reservation operations or withing IT industry handling project implementations and User Training.

·         Professional skill in Windows environment for enterprise level projects

·         Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products in particular, Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint

·         Previous job experience with other PMS system or Hotel IT project.

·         Those familiar with Hotel environment will be added advantage

·         Willing to be contactable on an on-call basis after-hours by mobile phone.

·         Willing to travel locally and overseas for projects sites in difference location.
