Job Description

  • Ensures that the required systems, tools, and processes are in place to support the business development and sales operations.
  • Manages multiple Shiji customers across the global marketplace and liaise with other members of the Enterprise Platform team to ensure effective and efficient coordination between departments, entities and sister companies in support of business development and sales.
  • Accountable for providing day-to-day contact with Shiji customers and prospects.
  • Should have a basic understanding of today’s web, mobile, and application delivery platforms, keep up with the pace of technology change, and Cloud architectures.
  • Able to communicate effectively with Shiji colleagues to better support and improve the Enterprise Platform.
  • Builds relationships with senior executives, purchasing managers, technical managers, finance directors and other members of the client team who make or influence purchasing decisions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the technical and business challenges of Customers and Prospects and identifies opportunities to increase sales of related products and services.
  • Monitors and analyses competitor activities to assess threats to important clients and the Shiji Enterprise Platform

Qualifications

  • Sales and Sales Management experience will be a plus.
  • Strategic negotiation and analytical skills
  • Excellent Sales and Business Development communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong internal communication and coordination skills.
  • Team player with leadership qualities.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Networking skills.
  • Direct line hospitality experience including project, people, customer, financial management preferred.
  • Expertise in hospitality management systems products, technology and industry a plus.
  • Have and maintain a current knowledge of the state of hospitality technology on a global basis.
  • High energy with proven ability to lead and operate in a global marketplace.
  • Exposure to a customer-focused, high-end services business model
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a master’s degree in hospitality management a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Experience - 5 plus years in hospitality technology dealing at the executive level.
