As a Account Manager you will be the main internal ambassador to represent the entire range of Shiji products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. You’ll act as a liaison with customer support and implementation services and report into the Key Account Director for the EU and Africa region.

Job Description

  • Drive Chain engagement by building and maintaining a professional, humble, trustworthy, respectful and proactive relationship with all key stakeholders within the Hotel Chain.
  • Oversee the entire post-sale lifecycle with a portfolio of strategic customers, developing an account plan that optimizes operational health and performance.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within partnership (account) and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
  • Oversight of service delivery across Shiji regional and/or product divisions as it relates to your customer, ensuring involved teams are delivering to the SLA for the account, and if not, escalating with relevant internal parties.
  • Successfully collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including support, marketing, and sales operations, to meet specified objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders across Shiji divisions to drive cross-functional support, engagement and advocacy for your success.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience within the Hospitality industry
  • Understanding of hotel technology industry including POS, PMS and CRS applications is a must.
  • Strong project management skills and experience, ability to multi-task
  • Ability and desire to share your learnings, wins, losses and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal, persuasive and analytical skills
  • Self-driven, able to work independently 
  • High motivation with a powerful desire to succeed
  • A real passion for hospitality, travel and technology 
  • Fluent English and German are required, other languages a plus
