We are looking for a socially skilled Accountant to support and assist our finance team.

Job Description

  • Responsible for the daily accounting operations within EMEA with focus on the German entity
  • Contribute to Shiji's day-to-day activities with your HGB expertise
  • Ensure compliance with statutory accounting policies, rules, regulation, and laws
  • Coordinate accounts receivable and accounts payable process in close cooperation with the respective departments
  • Prepare regular payment runs to suppliers and staff
  • Handle expense report processing and assist with payroll entry
  • Contribute to monthly and annual closing and financial reporting and support in the annual audits
  • Be the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders


  • Min. 2 years of work experience with HGB
  • Experience with accounting systems, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is preferable
  • Experience with IFRS is beneficial
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Highly organized, with a focus on attention to detail and can-do attitude
  • cooperative personality with good verbal and written communication skills
