Job Description

Shiji Hong Kong is looking for an experienced hospitality Technical Account Manager based in Hong Kong, fluent in verbal and written Chinese and English, with excellent business communication skills.

The ability to travel between Hong Kong and China is required in this role from time to time. The role will also require working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams.

 

KEY OBJECTIVE & ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:

This role will drive and guide change across hotel groups updating their tech stack with the Shiji Enterprise Platform. 

It will require confident and capable communication at executive, management and business user levels, the ability to relate at all levels is key to success.  This skill will be complemented by essential working knowledge gained from within the international hospitality industry, please note this is mandatory and may include information technology, business management and/or system implementation skills.

Project Management experience will enhance the role and will be a requirement in the execution phase of the hotel change phases. The role will also require taking ownership of and resolving complex problems in a way that demonstrates balanced judgment, as well as developing creative workarounds and solutions for problems within appropriate time frames.

EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:

Mandatory: Minimum 5years experience in hospitality technology, experienced in dealing at an executive level

Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, both in speaking and written

Hospitality Management experience in a business position, such as Reservation Manager is preferred

Ability to participate in multiple activities simultaneously and manage a wide variety of tasks with priorities and goals is essential.

A minimum degree level qualification in Hospitality Management and/or Technology.

Ability and willingness to travel between Hong Kong and China

Team player with leadership qualities.

Good time management skills.

Ability to work with little direct supervision.
