For our Shiji Analytics team we’re looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Consultant to design and implement main business processes. You’ll be given end-to-end responsibility for the implementation, consulting, L2 support and close cooperation with our Product and Development teams to improve product features. Applying your knowledge of data science principles and experience within the hospitality industry, you'll be working with clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change and win buy-in for your recommendations.  

 
Shiji Analytics is a data driven platform helping hospitality organizations to collect, harmonizes and analyze the data to better manage their businesses. Shiji Analytics enables the interactive data visualization on dashboards with advanced functions including filtering, drill down, alerting, data exporting and more. 

 

Job Description

  • Drive growth and hit sales targets by building customer network and developing a deep understanding of our clients’ needs
  • Lead Consulting Workshops with Shiji Analytics customers to translate their data volumes, sources and business needs into visual dashboards and Enterprise Reporting  

  • Install Shiji Analytics online on customer site 

  • Analyze customer needs and configure the systems to their specific requirements 

  • Lead product trainings and consulting sessions on the usability, setup and  self-sufficient setup of data dashboards

  • Serve our customers by analysing their data need, investigating challenges, resolving problems as a point of escalation for our products connected to Shiji Analytics. Design and develop the structure of the future L2 Support Department 

  • Retract knowledge from big amounts of data, translate them into business needs and reports. Use visualisation technics to express and communicate clearly actionable insights resulted by the analysis for the customer 

  • Translate customer needs and requirements into actionable items for the Shiji Analytics product department  

  • Built up the operational department, processes and structure for Shiji Analytics  

  • Become an expert and provide support to other Shiji departments with in-dept knowledge on Shiji Analytics (f.e. Pre-Sales)

Qualifications

  • Hospitality background with strong experience in the usage of PMS systems is a must  

  • Sound computer aptitude with knowledge of databases  

  • Strong analytical background with understanding of data modeling and big data methodology 

  • Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements  

  • Experience with training and consulting customers with SaaS Products  

  • Experience with working in agile environment  

  • Strong communication skills and organizational skills with attention to detail   

  • Enthusiasm and high level of motivation, target driven  

  • Excellent English, other languages a plus  

  • Experience with online dashboard visualization tool and revenue management is a plus
