Job Description

To support our finance team in Berlin, we’re looking for a motivated and skilled Financial Analyst to provide and analyze financial information in order to support the company in making well-informed decisions according to the profitability and stability of Shiji.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop internal financial reporting and KPIs of various Shiji Group entities including follow-ups
  • Take over of the analysis and the review of financial data and prepare and summarize the recommendations accordingly
  •  Identify areas to improve efficiency, continuously enhance processes & tools, and  support with implementing group processes and internal controls
  • Collaborates with the accounting team regarding the chart of accounts requirements and specifications for cost accounting
  • Support annual budget and intra-year forecasting process and also month-, quarter- and year-end close activities
  • Prepare reviews, presentations, and follow-up of CAPEX requests & take charge of ad-hoc analysis and special projects

Qualifications

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Relevant educational background and at least 3 years proven work experience in finance/accounting or in-depth knowledge in corporate finance
  • Working experience in a technology company is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Excel and basic knowledge of Accounting Standards (HGB, IFRS)
  • Proactive and self-motivated working attitude with great attention to detail
  • Ability to flexibly adapt to diverse target groups
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial reporting and ERP systems (Microsoft NAV would be a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, German is a big plus
  • Valid work permit to work in Germany
