Shift EV is a fast-growing electric vehicle technology company, based in Cairo, Egypt. Our vision is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Egypt and the region by developing state-of-the-art electric drivetrain solutions. You will work with world-class technology veterans from MIT, the University of Grenoble, Intel, and Corning to build a venture with transformative potential.

• Developing specifications, proof of concept and design of electro-mechanical systems, as well as mechanical structure for different product lines. 

• Prototyping and testing your designs and making adjustments as needed from initial research, modelling, proof of concept to developing prototype in volumes 

• Lead the planning of manufacturing of the electrical systems as well as through the manufacturing.

• BSc or MSc in the field of automotive, design & production, or aerospace engineering.

• 6+ years of proven experience in the Automotive industry

• Up-to-date on the latest technologies needed to accelerate in-house technology development improve safety, reliability and reduce cost

• Experienced in using a variety of design software: Solidworks, Autocad, Ansys,...

• Experienced in 3D Modelling - Workshop drawing - Stress Analysis

• You have a lot of grit and agility to work with ambiguity and uncertainty and thrive in fast-paced environments.
