Maximise revenue and ensure annual e-commerce financial targets are met

Set the strategic directions, oversee and coordinate all e-commerce activity

Develop e-commerce product and pricing strategies; balancing business objectives

and customer satisfaction

Stay connected to industry standards and competitors within the e-commerce capacity

through conferences, bench marking activities, webinars, and collaboration with other

partners

Evaluate the current e-commerce platform, conduct an analysis of potential

alternatives and manage the change of platform if needed

Identify opportunities for site improvements to include usability, AB testing, response

time, etc.

Ensure a best in class UI and UX experience to the customer

Manage various brands and brand suppliers for product expansion

Develop and execute campaigns/promotions, and manage launch plans and releases

of new products

Implement cross-marketing programs together with brick and mortar retailers / partners

Establish, track, and measure business metrics of success such as web traffic,

abandon rate, conversion, cost per click dollar, average order size and daily run rate

Oversee operational processes which involves logistics, warehousing and fulfilment

Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve processes and develop

repeatable processes

Oversee the recruitment and the management of the e-commerce team

Requirements:

Working knowledge of ERP/CRM web based systems is a must

Strong analytical skills

Sound, up-to-date working knowledge in Google Analytics, AB Testing products,

SEM including SEO, Emailing products like Mailchimp, etc.

Ability to directly lead and develop a small business unit and manage growth

Ability to develop strategy and manage its implementation

Customer focus and the ability to look at operations from the customer’s perspective

Knowledge and working experience of Social Media, digital online marketing

channels and other online campaigns platform

Excellent command of English language (spoken & written)

Basic knowledge of the bicycle industry is a nice to have

Qualifications

Any business degree or diploma but more importantly a good track record of managing a similar business. 

Additional CMS skills,  certs in Digital Marketing, Google courses etc would be seen as an advantage.
