Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to supervise road construction works across multiple transportation infrastructure projects in Fiji.
Recruitment will be contingent upon contract award.
The Resident Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities while ensuring construction is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with contract specifications.
Responsibilities
- Supervise road construction activities.
- Monitor contractor performance and construction quality.
- Review contractor work programs and technical submissions.
- Verify completed works and certify quantities.
- Monitor project schedule and progress.
- Ensure compliance with FIDIC contractual requirements.
- Prepare technical reports and progress updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
- Previous experience serving as Resident Engineer on major road construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
- Experience with construction supervision and quality assurance.
