Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Team Leader to join our team for upcoming Irrigation Design project in Caucasus Region, funded by EU.

• At least a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Agricultural or Civil Engineering or in the field of irrigation and/or drainage.
• At least 15 years of professional experience in the field of irrigation development, for both perennial (including viticulture) and seasonal crops.
• Preferably 5 years (or more) of professional experience in support to public sector agricultural authorities at central and local levels.
• Preferably 5 years (or more) of relevant international experience (outside the country of origin) in the field of irrigation development, for both perennial (including viticulture) and seasonal crops.
• Preferably 10 years of relevant professional experience in irrigation engineering design.
• Experience as a Team Leader/project management position on preferably two (or more) relevant IFI/donor (EIB, EU, WB, KFW, EBRD, AFD, ADB, others) financed projects in the past 10 years will be an asset.
• Excellent command of English (CEFR C1).
• Knowledge of Georgian or Russian would be a distinct advantage.
