Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Land Acquisition and Resettlement Specialist to join our team for Road Modernization Project in Uzbekistan funded by the Asian Development Bank.

This role is a replacement Land Acquisition and Resettlement Specialist who will be in charge of finalizing previous reports and associated tasks as the Technical Assistance project concludes.

• An advanced degree in sociology or in the social sciences
• 10 years of relevant experience in land acquisition and resettlement or similar activities
• 5 years of experience preparing and monitoring land acquisition and resettlement plans (LARP) and or related activities for projects financed by ADB or similar funding agencies
• Experience with Technical Assistance (TA) projects
• Uzbek or Russian speaking skill is required.
• Experience in the road and transport sectors is preferred.
