Job Description
Sheladia Associates, Inc. is soliciting interest from a professional Monitoring & Evaluation Expert to join an upcoming U.S. Government funded project addressing key constraints around agriculture and agro-processing in Southern Africa. Part of this project includes a component around improving roads to decrease transportation costs along select agricultural corridors. The expected scope of work will include feasibility and detailed design. This activity seeks to improve the access, quality, and climate resilience of prioritized roads within prioritized agricultural corridors. This project aims to ensure road durability, connect more farmers to markets, and increase climate resilience in the road sector.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ post qualification experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of infrastructure investments including surveys, baseline data determination, data analysis, and reporting.
• Development of monitoring indicators for at least three road investment or maintenance projects in Southern Africa.
• Participation in monitoring or supervision of at least two inter-urban road investment projects in Southern Africa.
• Fluent in English.
