Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Quantity Surveyor/Valour to join our team for an upcoming water sector proposal in South Sudan.

The consulting services aim to support long-term flood risk management planning and investment in South Sudan, to prepare feasibility assessments and design for key priority flood risk management infrastructure, to prepare bidding documents and to conduct supervision of project work to be implemented through international contracting practices.

The work involves extensive data analysis, stakeholder consultations, options assessment, independent reviews, feasibility studies, surveying, final design and construction supervision of selected water resources management interventions. 

• Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Surveying, Land and/or development economics or equivalent.
• Minimum of seven (7) years working experience.
• Five (5) years specialist experience in estimating and bidding of engineering works and preparing of bills of quantities. 
• Experience in valuation of properties and preparation of strip maps for compensation on infrastructure projects in South Sudan.
• Must be registered with relevant professional body.
