Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Sr. Bridge Engineer to join our team on an upcoming project in Fiji.

This scope of this project will include construction of a new road length of 3km with two legs of lengths 600m and 1.05km and a new Bridge in the Rewa Vutia district.

The Bridge Engineer's duties will include:

• Compilation and submission of design reports inclusive of geotechnical report, design criteria, assumptions and constraints on designs.
• Preliminary Designs drawings (Plan, Elevation & Standard details) of bridge, retaining walls, culverts.

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Must possess 15 years of professional work experience in major bridges design including 3 to 5 years on major bridges in coastal regions.
• Minimum 5 years of international experience
• Must be familiar with the latest design Software and international standards for bridge design and loading requirements.
• Fluency in English and report writing skills are required.
• Must have relevant work experience in major donor (ADB, World Bank, EU etc.)  funded international projects.
