We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Office Engineer with a background in WMATA (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority) projects to join our dynamic team.

Job Description

Sheladia Associates, Inc. is searching for a Mid-Level Office Engineer to play a pivotal role in the implementation of public transportation infrastructure projects. As an office engineer with Sheladia, you will work closely with your fellow team of engineers and project managers to ensure the successful execution of WMATA-related projects. Your expertise will contribute to the continued growth and success of our firm in a dynamic environment with potential for growth and development.

Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:

· Quality Assurance: Review project plans and specifications to ensure they meet WMATA requirements and industry standards.

· Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and other engineers, to deliver integrated solutions for clients.

· Permitting and Compliance: Navigate the permitting process, secure necessary approvals, and ensure that all projects adhere to WMATA guidelines and regulations.

· Budget and Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure project delivery is on time and on budget.

· Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field

· Professional Engineer (PE) license

· Min 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field; a focus on WMATA projects is preferred

· Proficiency in MS Office Suites

Preferred

· In-depth knowledge of WMATA standards and regulations
