Job Description

Sheladia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior-level Engineer to lead our domestic engineering department. As a senior-level professional, you will be responsible for managing Sheladia’s domestic engineering team and overseeing the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure successful project execution. This is a full-time, fully on-site position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage a team of multi-disciplined engineers (civil, structural, stormwater, transportation, etc.), providing guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project completion within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support project decision-making.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and technical documents.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster client relationships and actively participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years (10 years with Master’s degree) relevant experience in engineering project management, with a focus on design, construction, and infrastructure development.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering civil engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.

Additional Information

Salary: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
