Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated team player to join our Total Rewards team as Sr. Benefits Manager for the Americas. You will lead our 401(k) and financial-wellbeing strategy while also managing the coordinated design and delivery of benefits across the Americas (Canada, US, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Brazil). You’ll be a key facilitator in program design, vendor partnerships, compliance, and ongoing optimization. Frequently collaborating with our HR Operations, Legal, Finance, and Total Rewards leadership to drive engagement, cost-effectiveness, and measurable improvements allowing our employees and their families to live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities
Program Ownership: be the primary the program manager of our US 401(k) plan and our benefit plans and programs in Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Brazil
Vendor Management: partner with our recordkeeper, investment consultant, and 401(k) Investment Committee to ensure best-in-class service, competitive fees, and compliance with ERISA, DOL, and IRS regulations
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: identify areas for service delivery optimization and personalization of benefit experiences, including AI and NowOnNow solutions
Financial Wellbeing Strategy: develop and manage a holistic financial wellbeing program tailored to diverse employee segments
Data and Reporting: analyze participation, deferral rates, fund lineup performance, and plan costs; produce executive dashboards and actionable recommendations
Subject Matter Expertise: serve as primary POC for non-US, Americas benefits programs for internal stakeholders, guiding policy decisions and executive briefings on benefit trends and competitive positioning
Oversee budget planning and management: for portfolio of programs, ensuring financial alignment with strategic priorities
Leadership and Influence: lead without direct reports, driving alignment and accountability across matrixed teams
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
10+ years' experience managing 401(k) plans for organizations with 10,000+ participants and/or $1B+ in plan assets
Deep expertise with ERISA, DOL, IRS regulations, and fiduciary best practices
Experience with international benefits management: selecting and negotiating with vendors, including consulting firms, and outsourced third party administrators
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a focus on outcomes and impact
Proven ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams, including senior leaders
Proactive, self-directed approach to managing deliverables and driving results
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and engage stakeholders effectively
Growth mindset and ability to leverage organizational knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet deadlines
M&A and experience with non-qualified retirement plans preferred; this role will have occasional benefits due diligence and integration during corporate activity, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and an employee experience aligned to our People Pact
