Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Deployment Engineer to join our team. You will play a vital role in managing, supporting, and maintaining our production environment deployment processes.
Please note that this role requires a Sunday to Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturday as your days off. The roles would be based in Bangalore and would require presence in office.
What you get to do in this role:
Execute Deployment Procedures: Take an active role in executing deployment procedures independently, under the guidance of the PMOs. This involves preparing each deployment, coordinating with relevant teams within the R&D and the account teams, and knowing the relevant systems and scheduling for running deployments.
Intelligent Observability: Design and maintain AI-driven monitoring systems to proactively identify and resolve potential deployment anomalies, shifting from reactive troubleshooting to predictive maintenance.
Strategic Issue Mitigation: Spearhead the resolution of critical post-deployment issues by utilizing automated root cause analysis tools, ensuring rapid remediation and minimizing downtime.
Document and Report Deployments: Take responsibility for creating and maintaining deployment documentation, including deployment plans, checklists, and standard operating procedures. Generate deployment reports to track release metrics and performance.
Data-Driven Reporting: Automate the generation of deployment analytics and performance metrics, utilizing these insights to continuously refine deployment strategies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
Engineering degree and technical background with a focus on DevOps, CI/CD orchestration and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with 1 to 2 years of work experience.
Proven expertise in designing, maintaining, and scaling automation frameworks and AI-powered monitoring solutions.
Growth mindset with the ability to translate operational challenges into efficient and effective technical solutions.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go) and modern cloud-native deployment tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins and GitHub Actions).
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of data-driven decision-making in high-pressure, critical production environments.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and execute best practices regarding AI integration and automation.
Discipline with attention to detail and process orientation is the must have
