Job Description

What you will do in this role:

We are looking for a Senior Audio-Visual Engineer with extensive Audio Visual and Video Conferencing experience as a subject matter expert to join the Global AV Technology team. As an expert in this space, you will be playing a pivotal role in ensuring the successful design, delivery, and implementation of AV solutions across all regions. You will be part of a global team responsible for driving the Audio-Visual strategy at the highest standard with the goal of maximizing the collaborative meeting experience across all functions and making the world work better for everyone

Key Responsibilities

  • Consultant for all AV matters across the organization and advise on best practices to provide a world-class experience for meeting participants
  • Driving projects and consistent AV services across the workplace including video conferencing, digital signage, display, meeting room, and executive briefing centers technology.
  • Managing AV projects including communication, budget, and timeline to successful outcomes integrating with all aspects of the business to identify opportunities
  • Stakeholder management and partnering with cross-functional teams such as Workplace Services, Business, Procurement, Legal, Security & Finance teams to ensure successful delivery and ongoing projects & operations of various AV technology solutions
  • Evaluating the latest AV technologies and products including audio-visual monitoring, settings, room design, acoustic, lighting challenging the boundaries to inspire, create and innovate in all areas related to the AV experience
  • Ensuring successful incident and problem and resolution management of AV related issues engaging third-party support where required.
  • Seek to understand and recommend solutions such as replacement/upgrade of existing hardware, software, applications, self-help guides, process improvements, knowledge base, etc. to eliminate incidents and service requests.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • Experience in leadership is preferred
  • Ideally candidates should have experience with AV design using Autocad or Visio.
  • Certifications from Extron, Crestron, Biamp, QSC, Zoom, Cisco, Shure, CTS or CTS-D.
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience in large enterprise AV project delivery, large-scale refresh, and building migration projects
  • Passionate about AV technology and delivering innovative and progressive solutions exceeding customer expectations
  • Strong organizational, project, and time management skills
  • Strong background in audio-visual testing methodologies and quality assurance
  • Experience with networking technology, video transmission over the network, and audio/video signal flow
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to communicate, present, and generate enthusiasm and buy-in for ideas and solutions.
  • Understanding of Compliance, Risk, and Regulatory policies and framework
  • Industry and vendor certifications are highly valued
