Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to join our Commissions Analytics organization to help build out analytics and operations capability.

The ideal candidate must have a “can do” attitude and be flexible and adaptable, as well as being able to dive deep into the details and partner and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. A proactive, self-starter that takes responsibility to develop, own, and drive key workstreams on behalf of supporting the business.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Provide business partners with actionable insights into business drivers, financial and operational performance, and risks and opportunities in the form of regular reporting and ad hoc analyses
  • Be a part of annual sales planning, including quota setting and comp planning
  • Develop and evolve key performance metrics and dashboards and identify trends to help drive sales productivity and operational excellence
  • Construct forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data
  • Identify, gather requirements, design, and drive optimal solutions to enhance and streamline systems, reporting, and analytics
  • Prepare presentation package and analyses for business review cadences and other leadership meetings
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive alignment and consistencies.
  • Serve as the primary Contact for all analytics related queries in Excel, Anaplan, Tableau, CRM, Business Objects, Dynamics/Power BI, Varicent
  • Develop business requirements documentation, process workflow diagrams, functional specifications, user acceptance test scripts and other supporting documentation for Business Intelligence and Analytics initiatives
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with stakeholders and cross functional teams to drive alignment and consistencies.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field required.
  • 4-8 years of industry experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability and be able dive into technical details and design analytics solutions
  • Ability to analyze data coming from data sources and derive value from it to improve business SQL and other computer programs (Python, R is preferred)
  • Ability to visualize the results in the previous step by putting together simple and easily consumable dashboards using reporting tools
  • Working knowledge of CRM, Tableau, Power BI and SAP Hana
  • Must have good communication, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Expert in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with sales forecasting methodology, pipeline management, planning, hierarchies, and territory mapping, etc
