As the Environmental Sustainability Reporting Analyst, you will be a part of the Global Environmental Sustainability team. This role will support the team across all voluntary and regulatory reporting, ESG ratings, customers and investors' inquiries. In this detailed-oriented role, you will report to the Director of Environmental Sustainability. You will support data collection, organize, visualize, and analyze data and insights (Copilot, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI), supporting reporting tasks to completion. You will have the opportunity to continuously learn, create, and lead.
What you get to do in this role:
Act as the primary point of contact for environmental sustainability related to metrics and reporting.
Ensure the Environmental Sustainability team is supporting Corporate Sustainability Reporting team in all aspects of voluntary and regulatory reporting.
Work with the Director of Environmental Sustainability, Director of Corporate Sustainability Reporting, and internal stakeholders on timely collection and tracking of all environmental sustainability related metrics and programs for climate-related rater questionnaires, voluntary and regulatory reporting, customers/investors/prospects inquiry questions.
Analyze, understand, and provide insights and recommendations on how program can improve through benchmarking, peer review, gap analysis and keeping up to date with current reporting trends.
Utilize ServiceNow’s ESGM and IRM products to track and ensure controls of corporate sustainability metrics for public and internal governance or cross-functional reporting (questionnaires, presentations, regulatory reporting).
Organize process and documentation to support audit preparedness for metrics and targets.
Ensure reporting for all Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions and related SBTi targets.
Coordinate team for annual Global Impact Report requirements.
Coordinate internally and with external consultants to support delivery of climate risk review including climate scenario analysis.
Conduct analysis and utilize AI to provide insights and recommendations on how programs can improve through benchmarking, peer review, gap analysis, and keeping up to date with current reporting trends.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
5+ year experience working on corporate sustainability reporting and systems; understanding of reporting frameworks and raters such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, double materiality, CDP, and MSCI. and the specific requirements of the CSRD.
5+ years’ experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative environmental, sustainability and climate focused data (metrics, trends) and creating visuals and/or written analysis.
Successful track record of self-starting, researching information, and executing project to completion with sense of urgency and strong follow-up/follow-through.
Exceptional attention to details for public facing reporting (data, communications, tying out numbers and data).
Interest in collaborating, problem solving, offering recommendations, taking feedback and improving.
Experience in client service (consulting, finance), Workiva and AI prompts are a plus.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
