In manufacturing and other cyber-physical environments, managing the technology that powers industrial processes is becoming increasingly complex. Many organizations still rely on manual procedures and legacy knowledge to maintain their critical Operational Technology (OT) environments. This makes it difficult to gain a comprehensive view of OT systems—where even a minor issue can quickly escalate into a costly and complicated problem.
ServiceNow® Operational Technology offers a unified and contextual view of OT systems, enabling customers to keep them secure and operational. We help organizations safeguard and manage their OT infrastructure across industrial operations through a single system of action.
What you get to do in this role:
- Define, own, and deliver the product roadmap for the Service Management portfolio tailored to the Industrial Control Systems / Operational Technology (OT) market.
- Partner directly with Engineering teams to build solutions that address real-world market needs—developing a deep technical understanding of OT products, architecture, platform, and integration points.
- Collaborate with UX Design to lead early ideation and prototyping of new product features and capabilities.
- Develop strategies and tactics to deeply understand market challenges in OT service management and represent the “voice of the customer” within the organization.
- Influence horizontal products and platform roadmaps to incorporate innovations across the ServiceNow portfolio.
- Work cross-functionally with outbound product management, marketing, and pre/post-sales teams to shape product plans and execute the roadmap.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and identify ServiceNow’s positioning within the broader OT ecosystem.
- Collaborate with ISV and SI partners to complement the product roadmap and deliver holistic solutions to the market.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- 8+ years of overall experience, 5+ years of Product Management experience in enterprise applications (B2B) – including at least 3 years in SaaS Platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering / information technology / Industrial Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering or related technical field.
- MBA from a reputed institution (or equivalent business strategy / leadership training).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver products that integrate across complex systems and workflows (Internal systems, Databases, APIs, External tools).
- Deep technical expertise and a proven record of success working closely with Engineering
- Strong strategic operator and collaborator – Excellent at cross-functional teamwork and influence, with a proven ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
- Entrepreneurial mindset – thrives in dynamic environments, willing to roll up sleeves to drive outcomes, with a relentless focus on product–market fit.
- Ability to communicate effectively on both technical and business topics; able to present equally effectively to an engineer or to a customer.
- Knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and current applications portfolio is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) domain is a strong plus.
- Background in one or more of the following domains: Industrial Networks, Enterprise Asset Management, Cybersecurity, Vulnerability Management, Risk Management, Policy Compliance, Computer Networks is a strong plus.
