Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Design and lead development of AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable business impact, from automation and insights to intelligent customer experiences.
- Build high-quality, scalable, and reusable systems with a focus on AI integration, applying best practices in architecture, testing, CI/CD, and performance at scale.
- Partner with product owners and cross-functional leaders to shape technical strategy, translating complex business challenges into AI-powered solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and measurable results.
- Drive the end-to-end AI lifecycle: data collection, model integration, monitoring, and continuous improvement, at both the product and platform level.
- Explore and evaluate emerging AI frameworks, LLMs, and automation tools, prototyping innovative solutions and guiding adoption across teams.
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor, promoting knowledge-sharing, AI literacy, and responsible adoption of AI practices across engineering teams.
- Influence and define architectural standards, ensuring alignment with long-term business and technology strategy.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Deep expertise in leveraging AI to drive business and operational impact, with a proven ability to integrate AI into large-scale systems, workflows, and customer experiences.
- 10+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language, including architecting and delivering complex, high-performance systems.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue), with a focus on intelligent, componentized solutions.
- Strong command of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and large-scale system design.
- Experience with cloud platforms and AI services, with the ability to assess trade-offs and architect solutions that scale.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex projects with material technical risk, driving impact across teams and organizations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical direction and mentor engineers at all levels.
