Job Description

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized, execution-driven Keynotes Program Director to lead the planning, production, and delivery of keynote programs across our major events. This role is the operational linchpin between content, creative, speaker teams, and production—ensuring that every keynote is strategically sound and flawlessly delivered.

You’ll manage the full keynote lifecycle from program development to showtime, aligning multiple stakeholders, timelines, and workstreams to produce high-impact main stage moments that move audiences and elevate our brand.

What You’ll Do

  • Own End-to-End Keynote Program Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of keynote sessions—including planning, timelines, budgets, resources, and delivery.
  • Keynote Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine keynote strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and audience engagement goals.
  • Operational Planning: Develop detailed production schedules, speaker prep timelines, and run-of-show documents in coordination with content, creative, and technical teams.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the central point of contact between marketing, comms, content, speaker operations, and event production teams.
  • Speaker Operations: Manage intake, onboarding, communications, and logistics for keynote speakers—both internal and external. Coordinate rehearsals and technical checks together with the strategic events team.
  • Content & Asset Management: Ensure all keynote materials (scripts, slides, videos) are reviewed, approved, and delivered on time and in the correct formats.
  • Production Partner: Work closely with production teams (internal or agency) to plan stage design, AV needs, show calling, and overall technical execution.
  • Risk Management & Problem Solving: Identify risks, remove blockers, and keep everything running smoothly—especially in the final lead-up to live events.
  • Post-Event Reporting: Gather feedback, analyze performance, and capture learnings to continuously improve keynote operations and execution.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • 15+ years of experience in program management, event operations, or production—preferably with experience supporting executive-level programming
  • Proven success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail—nothing slips through the cracks
  • Experience working with production teams, AV vendors, and creative agencies
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • A calm, solutions-oriented mindset—especially under pressure
  • Comfort with project management tools and presentation platforms (Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Familiarity with stage production and live or virtual broadcast environments
  • Background in large-scale conferences or main-stage event planning
  • Experience in speaker coaching or executive comms workflows
